Why should you say NO TO WAR?

No doubts that Sri Lanka is one country that has a BIG lesson to say NO to WAR. I do not think there is a better example of how cruel and devastative the war is as we experienced it over 30 years. Especially most of us has experienced 24/7 days fear and uncertainty. Some of us had to escape, left our belongings, left our beloved ones alone at home, to join the war and almost it made us lose everything we had. It was a historical mistake that our country lost many things, halted development, trapped us in poverty, made people suspect their people, driven to kill our people, and developed a nation to slave corrupted politicians. Mostly it has taken away the love and humanity from us. So, we are a nation that must say no to war in any corner of this planet.

It is sad to see the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the people getting killed for rude, egoistic, autocratic, greedy geopolitics. It is sad to see some taking a side of Russia by claiming that we should not mess with a powerful country like Russia. Does that mean we must always be on the side of Russia because the Russian government had a say when there was a war in Sri Lanka? Are we taking the side of a friend who helped us or humanity in a situation where people getting killed? So, it is a matter of choosing humanity over a friend.

So why don’t you see the hell of power using a powerful country to invade a small nation just because they didn’t listen to them, supporting Western? So, didn’t you notice this is a try to appoint slave governments in neighbouring countries to make war buffer zones? Don’t you see these attempts to control small nations by powerful nations only for their well-being? Who can ensure that this isn’t going to happen to us in the future?

Don’t you notice Ukrainians had to escape leaving behind everything they earned? (Isn’t this something that shakes your mind to recall what we experience over 30 years) People and kids are dying in Ukraine, destroying years of development. Why do we make such a disruption? This could have been sorted out by negotiations and peace talks easily. Why is this ego? Why do we need to see the blood flowing in the ground constantly than pigeons flying over? Peace is the only thing we look for FOREVER. It is all about humanity and keeping the well-being of people and a healthy planet. War isn’t natural. It is man-made. So, keys with us to close it. This planet isn’t hell; it is a heaven, so let it be. Support humanity. Say no to war. So, stand up with all humanity forces, including beloved Russians protesting their government to stop the war. I salute them; I salute you too if you chose Humanity.
